EXAMINATION OF THERMAL STRESSES OCCURRING IN CIRCULAR DISCS BY FINITE ELEMENT METHOD

In this study, thermal stress analysis on discs consisting of two different materials was analyzed analytically. Disc were selected SiC/6061 Al Alloy composite and Al-7075 respectively. Assuming that the elasticity module does not change with temperature, performed under constant temperature distributions in area from inner surface disc to outer surface. Thermal distribution. A computer program developed for calculation ANSYS finite element used. The values obtained are presented tables graphs. There have been differences radial tangential stresses occur because modules expansion coefficients make up different. value has always determined as zero innermost outermost surfaces discs. Tangential distribution occurred pressure part tensile part. It is concluded occurring SiC /6061 alloy material greater than those AL-7075.
